My work centers around belonging, beauty and wonder. I focus on nature, family lines, inheritance, and the intersection of people and place. Much of my work is informed by my career as a bodyworker and holistic esthetician, and this is another form of art for me. By connecting through touch and awakening the other senses, my goal is to help people feel at home in their bodies.

 

I am a haiku poet and have found a safe container for big thoughts and feelings within the seventeen syllable puzzle. I love the playfulness of tapping out syllables and finding a way to convey what I observe in nature. Merging my photography and haiku is one of my favorite things.
